Customer documentation for industrial suppliers
Another customer questionnaire. Another hunt for documentation?
Katalysator is being developed to bring together the evidence needed for customer questionnaires, flag gaps and propose source-linked answers for your approval. The aim is to reuse approved work in the next customer’s format while the evidence remains valid.
In development. Bring one real customer request.
One supplier, two customer questionnaires. See how evidence is checked, gaps are flagged and approved work is reused.
Fictional, preloaded example of the intended workflow.

The problem and the workflow
Finding a file is rarely enough.
Customers ask in their own formats. Evidence is scattered across systems, documents and colleagues. An earlier answer may be outdated or apply to another product, year or production site.
Understand the request
Clarify what the customer asks and what applies to you.
Connect the evidence
Link the required sources and surface missing information.
Review and approve
Check the answer and evidence before it goes into the customer format.
Reuse with checks
Reuse approved work only while its sources remain valid and relevant.
Missing evidence is flagged. Nothing is sent without your approval.
Who it is for
Relevant when the requests keep coming.
For industrial manufacturers and wholesalers facing recurring customer documentation requests, such as certificates, environmental data and supplier questionnaires.
- Several customers ask similar things in different formats.
- Sales, QHSE, procurement and production contribute to answers.
- Evidence lives in several places and changes over time.
- Slow or incomplete answers delay quotations and customer processes.
Request volume and workload matter more than headcount.
About Katalysator
From a CBS thesis to real customer requests.

Katalysator grew out of my thesis at Copenhagen Business School on ESG-related documentation demands on Danish SMEs. It draws on 28 interviews with businesses, banks, investors and other stakeholders.
A central finding: answering one request does not necessarily build the capacity to handle the next one more easily.
Read the background at Nordic ESG Lab (CBS)
The next step is to test one recurring customer request with an industrial business and measure what can be reused next time.
A concrete conversation
Is there a customer request we can look at?
In 20 minutes, we look at one real customer request and identify the sources and colleagues needed to answer it.
If your workflow is a fit, the next step could be a bounded paid test of one recurring request type. We agree the scope first.
